When it comes to vampires, the first thing that comes to mind is usually myths and superstitions. However, what if I told you that vampires are not just a work of fiction? In fact, there may be evidence to suggest the existence of a 2,000 year old vampire that was around when Jesus walked the Earth.
The story of this vampire dates back to ancient Rome, during the reign of the emperor Tiberius. According to local legends, a nobleman named Lucius was turned into a vampire after being bitten by a strange creature that was seen lurking in the shadows of the city. The creature was said to possess a powerful aura, and was rumored to be hundreds of years old, pre-dating even the existence of the Roman Empire.
Lucius was a proud man, who refused to accept his fate as a vampire. He was a devout follower of the pagan beliefs prevalent at that time, but was also fascinated by the teachings of the Jewish and early Christian cultures. Lucius had heard rumors of a powerful prophet who had been born in a distant land, and whose followers claimed that he could perform miracles and even bring the dead back to life.
Curious, Lucius traveled across the Mediterranean and came face to face with the man we know as Jesus of Nazareth, who was preaching the word of God throughout the Holy Land. After listening to Jesus’ sermons, Lucius became convinced that there was truth to his teachings. He saw the miracles performed, and even witnessed Lazarus being raised from the dead.
Lucius realized that he had a choice to make. He could either embrace his new life as a vampire and live forever, or continue in his mortal life and eventually die. But he was torn, as the teachings of Jesus had touched his heart and his soul, yet they also contradicted the dark nature of his vampiric condition.
In the end, Lucius decided to follow the teachings of Jesus, and to use his immortality to help others in need. He became a powerful force for good, working in secret to help the sick, the poor, and those who were powerless in the face of the Roman Empire. He taught that there was hope for all, and that even those who were damned by their circumstances could find redemption through the love of God.
As time passed, Lucius saw the rise and fall of many kingdoms and empires, and he witnessed the birth and spread of many religions. He saw the world change in ways that he could never have imagined, and he saw countless humans come and go, while he remained ageless and immortal.
Today, some two thousand years later, there are still rumors of a mysterious vampire who lingers in the shadows, watching over humanity from the outskirts of society. Some say that he is a product of legend and fiction, while others believe that there is truth to the story of Lucius, the vampire who found hope and redemption through his encounter with Jesus.
We will be soon introducing you to Lucius who has had an encounter with the Bishops ring! There is so much more to it and it will all be coming soon.
Vampires have been around for thousands of years, even dating back to the Sumerians. Contrary to some beliefs Judas was not the first. Would be interesting to hear Lucius story.
I look forward to more stories about Lucius.
