Bowls Of The Mystic

Incantation Bowl, also known as a 'Demon Bowl' (Devil-trap Bowl) or Magic Bowl, is a form of early protective magic found in what is now Iraq and Iran. Produced in Middle East during late antiquity from 6th-8th Centuries CE, particularly in Upper Mesopotamia and Syria; Bowls were usually inscribed in a spiral, beginning from rim and moving toward center. Most are inscribed in Jewish Babylonian Aramaic.

Bowls were buried face down and were meant to capture demons. They were commonly placed under threshold, courtyards, in corner of homes of recently deceased and in cemeteries.

Majority of Mesopotamia's population were either Christian, Manichaean, Mandaean, Jewish or adherents of ancient Babylonian religion, all of whom spoke Aramaic dialects. Majority of recovered incantation bowls are written in Jewish Aramaic. These are followed in frequency by Mandaic language and then Syriac. A handful of bowls have been discovered that were written in Arabic or Persian. An estimated 10% of incantation bowls were not written in any real language but pseudo-script. They are thought to be forgeries by illiterate “scribes” and sold to illiterate clients.

To date only around 2000 incantation bowls have been registered as archaeological finds, but since they are widely dug up in Middle East, there may be tens of thousands in hands of private collectors and traders.

A subcategory of incantation bowls are those used in Jewish and Christian magical practice. Aramaic incantation bowls are an important source of knowledge about Jewish magical practices, particularly nearly eighty surviving Jewish incantation bowls from Babylon during rule by Sasanian Empire (226-636 CE), primarily from Jewish diaspora settlement in Nippur. These bowls were used in magic to protect against evil influences such as evil eye, Lilith, and Bagdana. These bowls could be used by any member of community, and almost every house excavated in Jewish settlement in Nippur had such bowls buried in them.

Belief in demons as source of ills that befall humankind was also widespread in antiquity. Sickness, for example, was thought to be a result of demonic possession. If that was case, use of magic incantation bowls might have been even more effective than a doctor.

This is a very old ring meant to represent the bowls of magic. The supernatural magic is balanced so it works properly and is dual. To use this ring you only need a little ash from incense on one side.

This will conjure any creature, cast any spell, bring any desire. What you ask for, create or call is up to you. I only have one of these. This ring is one of a kind and is expensive because of where it had to be in order to operate freely. Now anyone can use it. This has been to the caverns in India, to the Holy See and through the dimensional golden road to the heavens. Without good, we don’t have bad. Without dark we can’t have light. How you use this is your responsibility. Please HEAR ME, there is nothing and no one you can’t conjure! Please use responsibility.

This is all sterling silver and about a size 6 or 7. You do NOT need to wear this. You only need it when you want to use it.
