There is no dirt in this. It’s very shiny and pretty. It just looks off because of the picture. This is a locket that holds Heavens Fairy’s. These when you can find them or a piece they are in carry what you want off to be given to you. The Irish saying is, if you find the heavens wings allow her to gather your gains. These are always lockets, old, vintage and modern. This one is beautiful and has no problem holding what you want given to you inside.
