The Holy WOW piece! 2
6-8-24 This is for the Ring.
The Library of Alexandria, was not just a repository of knowledge but a nexus of the mystical and the arcane, where the boundaries between the known and the unknown blurred. Here are some of the most unique and fantastical finds placed into these two pieces.
The Book of Shadows- This tome was said to be bound in the skin of a shadow, making it invisible when not in direct light. It contained spells and incantations that could manipulate darkness itself, allowing the reader to walk unseen or summon creatures of shadow.
The Atlas of Dreams- A book that was perpetually warm to the touch, this atlas mapped not the physical world but the dreamscape. Each page depicted a different dream realm, and that by reading it, one could enter these dreams at will, influencing or even controlling them.
The Whispering Scrolls- These were not scrolls in the traditional sense but living entities. They would whisper secrets of the universe to those who listened closely, but only if they deemed the listener worthy. Each scroll had its own personality, and some were known to be mischievous, leading readers astray with false information. Now in modern society that has stopped. You are left with nothing but truth. It just might not be the truth you want to hear.
The Tome of Echoes- This book is written in a language that was not of this world. When opened, it would emit a soft hum, and if one listened carefully, they could hear echoes of past conversations, events, or even thoughts from across time. It is a conduit to the past, allowing one to hear history unfold. Finally you get the truth!
The Codex of the Elements-Bound in a cover that shifted through the colors of fire, water, earth, and air, this codex was said to teach the reader how to control the elements. Legends spoke of scholars who, after studying this book, could summon storms, quell fires with a gesture, or cause the earth to tremble.
The Mirror of Mnemosyne- Not a book but an artifact, this mirror was said to reflect not the face of the viewer but their memories. By gazing into it, one could relive any moment from their past or even see memories not their own, borrowed from the collective consciousness of humanity.
The Labyrinthine Manuscript-This was a book that seemed to have no beginning or end. Its pages would rearrange themselves, creating new narratives each time it was opened. It was said to contain every story ever told or that could be told, and within its pages, one could get lost for years, living out countless lives.
The Scroll of the Phoenix-Written on what appears to be ash, this scroll would burn to ashes when read, only to reform itself moments later. It contained the knowledge of rebirth and renewal, teaching not just about physical resurrection but the rebirth of ideas, civilizations, and even time itself. This brought immortality. It is called the fertility of immortality.
The Garden of Forking Paths-This was less a book and more a conceptual library within the Library, where each path represented a different choice or decision in history. Readers could explore these paths, witnessing how different decisions would have unfolded, essentially experiencing alternate histories.
The Oracle's Codex-This book predicts the future, but with a twist. It would only show the future if the reader asked the right question, and even then, the answers were often in riddles. It is believed that this book is alive, evolving with each prediction, making it one of the most sought-after and feared items in the library.
The Library of Alexandria is not just a library and never was. It’s a living house of the arcane, occult and wildly supernatural.
The ring is sterling and for the men. The little woven boxes represent the various corridors of hidden magic and realms.
The women’s necklace is all sterling with real topaz and other real stones. The necklace minus any supernatural power is very expensive!
To use these pieces you will wear them and allow a recall of whatever book or piece you want. There is more than what is listed in these. Nothing will hurt you but it will fascinate you and empower you!
Christmas is coming!
